Black Angus Steakhouse locations reopen in Fountain Valley and Santa Ana

Black Angus Steakhouse has begun reopening some of the restaurants it temporarily closed in December and is preparing for Valentine’s Day.

Two locations in Orange County have reopened for takeout and delivery this week, according to the Sherman Oaks-based chain.

Fountain Valley: 17920 Brookhurst St., 714-968-4477

Santa Ana: 1350 N. Tustin Ave., 714-558-3057

Restaurants have also reopened in Bakersfield, El Cajon, Chula Vista, and Citrus Heights.

Black Angus temporarily closed more than half of its locations early in December, citing the challenges of operating during the novel coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home mandates. The chain intends to reopen all its locations with timing dependent on local guidelines and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it said in a statement.

In Southern California, locations in Lancaster, Northridge and Torrance remained open.

The chain’s Valentine’s Day promotion is a to-go pack with steak and lobster for two people, priced at $99. It will be available Feb. 12-14, according to a news release.
