During Location, location, location last night, Phil Spencer revisited Carol and Alan, from Somerset, who appeared on the show in 2010 searching for their dream property (inset). Though the family had a healthy budget of £700,000, they also had a list of demands for their search, including space to run a dog training business, a barn, ten acres of paddocks, parking and outbuildings to convert into a holiday rental business. During the show, they struggled to find their dream home, announcing one was ‘too close to the neighbour’, while another had rooms which were ‘too small’ (top left, the final property was £95,000 over budget; top right, the second house didn’t have a barn; bottom right, Carol also thought the rooms were too small; bottom left, another house which was too close to a neighbour).
