Bills Mafia may be excited for the season to start, but they should leave throwing the football to the quarterback.
As Buffalo Bills signal caller Josh Allen was leaving the field after a training camp session, the quarterback jogged down the tunnel to head to the locker room.
It was then that a fan threw a football in a box at him while he wasn’t looking in the hopes the quarterback would sign it for him.
Allen wasn’t happy and yelled at the fan who did so.
Nearby fans said Allen said ‘that’s not cool’ to the fan twice, with the fan apologizing in response.
The same treatment was given to wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who tried signing a number of items thrown at him.
After a while, and surrounded by a continuing cascade of merchandise, an exasperated Diggs waved goodbye to the fans, walking off.
A number of commenters criticized fans’ conduct, calling them disrespectful and showing concern for Allen and Diggs’ well being.
Buffalo begins its preseason schedule this week at home against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.
Following that comes two more preseason games against the Broncos and Panthers before opening the regular season on the road against the defending champion Los Angeles Rams.
The Bills remain favorites to win Super Bowl LVII – which would be the first title in team history.
